Xacobeo 2010
I have been working with Xacobeo preparing their Online activities this 2010 Holy Year. A very exciting project, since Xacobeo has not really had a very strong presence online before. We have tried to push the “web 2.0″ as much as possible to make site that is useful and practical for both pilgrims and visitors to the various events during 2010.

The Camino Travel Center is now open for business!
The Camino Travel Center is located in Santiago de Compostela and we are here to serve pilgrims and tourists with their travels to Santiago de Compostela. We are set up as a travel agency, and can therefore offer a wide variety of services some of them listed below.
In Santiago de Compostela – once you arrive in Santiago stop by our office to see what activities are happening. We will offer a direct bus service to Finisterre, a few hours in a Spa or stroll the streets of old town Santiago with an English speaking guide.
Colors and logo was developed by a designer, the site was created and developed by me.
The newly completed website for the research group “Econ Natura” at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
I will be developing a new website for the Deputacion de La Coruña, here in Galicia. It will not be a redesign of their main site, but a new site for a new project that they are involved in. Most likely linked from their main site.

Yesterday I got approved a pilot project that, if all goes well, can be really interesting. Turgalicia will fund the development of this pilot.
What is it? Think iPod, history professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela and me (web development). Can’t say more at this time.
This is a homegrown idea that I truly believe in and hope will be successful.
I am currently involved in a project with “Instituto Enerxético de Galicia” (INEGA) related to organize large amounts of data and create new reports that will be useful for them in the future. Still early on, but looks very interesting.
Currently working on a new website for “Grupo de Investigación Socio-Territorial (GIS-T). This is a research group at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
We have decided on using WordPress as a platform.
The site is now ready, as of today the client only need to add content to it.
I am involved in this interesting project that consists of trying to create a partership between Norwegian and Galician/Spanish companies and the public sectors in each region. Possible parters are BTV and Neria.
The idea is that this cooperation will develop several (3-5) harbors on the Galicia coast (Costa da Morte). This is the region around Finisterre.
Still early on, but if this project flies it will be a very interesting one.
